We are a gathering of people who share a value for growth.
Some of us are from a church background and others are not.
Some of us use Christian language to describe spiritual experiences and others don’t.
What we hold are values and practices that help us grow from self-limiting habits to the kinds that produce life.
We meet every other Sunday morning. We draw from the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures for wisdom rather than for beliefs or doctrines, and the Enneagram as a tool for growth.
On a larger scale, we have talked to thousands of people across the country and this is what we hear: There is a growing desire for spiritual community but not the beliefs, doctrines, or even the structure of traditional Sunday gatherings. People tell us all the time that they want spiritual experiences. Those who no longer attend church say they miss the gatherings while those who still attend are hungry for personal growth.
There is a groundswell of this sort of spirituality but right now it has no form. What we are trying to do is to give it some form and see what happens.
